Art-Kitect is pleased to offer consultations at our storefront free of charge to our clients. Please contact us to schedule an appointment for a consultation.
Payment For Conservation Work
Conservation treatment is based on an hourly labour cost + expenses incurred. It is never based on the value of the artwork. Generally speaking, treatments start from 50.00$ and up. Projects over 5,000.00$ will require a 50% deposit before treatment can begin.The Cost Associated with Art Conservation and Restoration, a recent article written by Art Business News. Art-Kitect conservators are available to bid on national and international projects. All conservators are aerial lift certified, working at heights certified, WHMIS certified and our company is WSIB. If you require us to collect your artworks from you, please email [email protected] for information artwork transportation on our to pick-up and deliver your pieces.
CONSERVATION REPORTS AND APPRAISALS
All conservation reports and appraisals are available for a fee. Conservation reports and appraisals are useful for our clients who wish to invest in an artwork, sell artwork they own, or need to keep a report on-hand for insurance purposes. All reports include professional photography taken of the piece (before, after + during photos).
